Our dry cat food is cooked and dried to a moisture level that makes the food shelf-stable.  Additionally, we add mixed tocopherols, a natural preservative to ensure freshness.  Our canned foods are commercially sterilized using heat and pressure according to the US FDA Code of Federal Regulations.
